Disabled Persons Railcard
By Angela • Sep 21st, 2008 • Category: Price ReductionsIf you have a disability that makes travelling by train difficult you may qualify for the Disabled Persons Railcard. The railcard allows you - and an adult companion with you - to get a 1/3 off most standard and first class fares throughout Great Britain.
You must provide proof that you qualify for a railcard. You can receive a disabled persons railcard for a person with Autism if they are receiving either of the two rates of DLA for mobility or at least middle rate for care and have been doing so for at least a year.
Application details are found on their website.
